MINUTE OF THE EXECUTIVE MEETING
HELD IN THE EXECUTIVE MEETING ROOM
AT 9.00A.M. MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2010

1. Call to Order
The Chair called the meeting to order at 9.00A.M.

2. Minutes
The minutes of the Executive meeting held on Tuesday, August 24, 2010, were read and approved

3. Matters arising from the minutes.
MissSayumpoo reported that she had agreed that to do at the last Executive Meeting about the problem of computer system in Export & Import department and had assigned to MissSupattra, MissNattawipha and MissLaddawan to research the information about the computer system in order to discuss in this meeting.

5. Discussing about an in-house mini computer system
It was decided that An in-house computer system is one which is owned or leased by the company and located in the company’s offices. The Cerebrotech 8068 and the Nikkodata ADP-12 were invertigated for this report. Celebrotech 8068, it can support the network of up to five work station. Each work station is equipped with a video terminal, keyboard, and two 5 14 floppy disk drives. Additional memory and printer/plotters them for future need. Thera are two problems, the first is that the ready-made software programs are very expensive and it has no service facility in Thailand.
Nikkodata ADP-12 is sold complete with software programs. The nikkodata printer operates a speed of 200 characters per second. The central processor can support up to seven work stations. It provides software which is adequate for the company’s need. A wide range of commercially available software is also compatible with the Nikkodata system. Components of Nikkodata system are manufactured in Thailand is cheaper than Celebrotech. Nikkodata also operates a service facility in Thailand.

6. Reporting about a Sharing arrangement
MissNattawipha was decided that in a time-sharing arrangement, the main computure is owned and operated by another company. Only input/out put terminals and printers would be located at the GTC facility.
A dedicated telephone line which would be used exclusively to carry data a from the GTC terminals to the main computer at Siam Component is available through krung. Thep Telephone company. Siam Component would be responsible for handling all of the client’s data. Siam component would also be responsible for the maintenance and reliability of their computer.

7. The resolution of the meeting
It was resolved that In-House mini computer system (Nikkodata ADP-12) is the best that suitable and economic for our company because Nikkodata is sold completely with software programs at a reasonable price after the vote had been taken.

8. Date and Place of Next Meeting
It was agreed that the next Executive Meeting would be at 9.00A.M. on October 24, 2010, in the Executive Meeting Room.

Good morning everyone, It’s 9.00 and everyone seems to be here so, I now call this Executive Meeting to order. Will the secretary read the minutes of the previous meeting?

Secretary (read): The Executive Meeting of July 24,2010 was called to order by the chairman at 9.00.

Chairman: Are there any additions or corrections? Is here a motion on the minute?

Suppattra: I move the minutes be accepted as published and read.

Chairman: Any discussion?(pause) All those in favor?(pause) Unanimous.
Well, I wish to report that, I agreed that to do at the last Executive Meeting about the problem of computer system in Export & Import department and I assign to MissSupattra and MissNattawipha to research the information about the computer system in order to discuss in this meeting. Well let get on the meeting.

Secretary: We are going to discuss about new computer system for Export & Import department. There are two systems for the consideration. Firstly, in-house minicom system will presented MissSupattra and time sharing system will explained by MissNattawipha.

The secretary record the amount please. And then, who agree with Time-Sharing system, show me your hand please. Thank you for your coorperation.

Secretary: Well, as a result, it is clearly that most of us agree with In-House mini computer system. So, we would like to consider in the last step by chairman.

Chairman: We have many steps suggestions. However, there are different in advantages and disadvantages for the both system. In my opinion and my majority, the best that suitable and economic for our company is In-House mini computer system (Nikkodata ADP-12) because Nikkodata is sold completely with software programs at a reasonable price. Would anybody like to ask some question? (pause)

Everyone: No.
