History The up and development Thai Fruit Company is one of the companies which plays revolutionary role in Thai fruit business. It gives the business one start further step by producing canned fruit which – during that period - was indeed an innovation. The company business had begun in 1962 as a family business. In February 1976, the company was incorporated as Thai Fruit Company limited with initial registered capital of 10 million baht to manufacture and distribute canned foods and canned fruits. Its business had expanded continuously. In 1980, the Company expanded its the production capacity by establishing a factory located on a 5-hectar plot of land in Laem Sigh, Chantaburi. Thai Fruit earned immense trust through the stability of the company business. Since 10th March 1990, Thai Fruit shares were listed in the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Later, from 1993, the Company’s shareholders structure was changed as Abico Holdings PCL had acquired 10,000,000 shares from the existing shareholders, or 40% of 250 million Baht registered capital.
